LIBRARY GUIDELINE:-


Grow More Library is primarily meant for the faculty, students, and administrative staff of the college. These rules are framed to help and promote, rather than to constrain the use of library materials and services.

Library is kept open on following timings:
  • Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 06:00 PM(During exam up to 08.00 pm)
    Saturday 7:30 AM to 04:00 PM
    Sunday 9:30 AM to 02:00 PM (During examination)
     
Admission to Library:

  • Students are allowed to library only on production of their authorized/valid Identity Cards
General:
  • Silence to be maintained.
  • Enter your name and Sign in the register kept at the entrance counter before entering library
  • While entering the library, readers should leave their personal belongings, such as bags, brief-cases, personal books, and parcels near the counter reserved for this purpose. However, they can carry loose papers and note books
  •  Using Cellular phones and audio instruments with or without speaker or headphone is strictly prohibited in the library premises.
  •  Readers leaving the library should allow the library/security staff to examine their personal belongings.
  • Readers should maintain peace in the library and should not disturb other users in any way.
  •  Readers should not deface, mark, cut, mutilate or damage library material in any way. If anyone is found doing so, he will be charged the full replacement cost of the material.
Borrowing Entitlement:-


  •  Library resources like references books, periodicals, and magazine are to be utilized within the library premise only.
  • Library borrower cards are not transferable. The borrower is responsible for the books borrowed on his/her card.
  •  Faculty members can borrow 5 books for 28 days only.
  •   Students can borrow 2 books at a time for 14 days only.


Issue and Return:-
  • The borrower may return or renew the book on or before the due date. For renewing, presentation of the material along with the library card is necessary. Renewal is not permitted if a demand is pending for the material.
  •  The library can recall material after two weeks of issue. Materials to be replaced on reserve can be recalled any time.
  • If a book is not returned to the library when due, the borrower will be fined Rs.1/- per day per volume. Overdue fines can be paid in cash at the counter. The library can refuse to issue books to a borrower having overdue books.
Overdue Charges:-

  • Books = Re.1 per day
  • No reading Vacation, No Examination
No due Certificate:-
  • Each student shall obtain No dues certificate from the library after returning all the books issued, surrendering the borrower’s cards and after paying outstanding dues, if any. 
Book bank
  •  Members of the book bank will be issued all textbooks for each semester.Book shall be returned within Seven days after the theory examination, otherwise a fine of Rs.100/- per book will be charged.
Care of Library Books
  • Students are require to handle the books/ Journal very carefully; marking with pencil , writing or highlighting , tearing the pages or mutilating the same in any other way will be viewed very seriously. In such case reader shall be held responsible unless these are brought to the notice of the library staff at the time of issue.

    Reference section
    • This section has Encyclopedia, dictionaries, Text books reference books etc. which are only available for reference. User can make use of these resources.

    Journal Section
    • In these section journals, general magazines and news letter are available. They are arranged alphabetically. The latest issues are displayed on display rack and other previous issues are arranged in the drawer.
